Welcome to Honor of the Vor Wiki
35 articles since October 2008.
Guidelines
For now, this wiki exists entirely to let us start building theme pages while we're in the brainstorming and/or re-reading stages. A few notes:
- Every page should contain a [[Category:<Category>]] at the end of the page.
- Think of categories like a tree - at the top will be large categories like 'Theme', 'Policies', 'Helpfiles', 'Logs', 'Character Pages'. For now, we're working primarily under 'Theme', which means that we will have a number of categories below 'Theme', such as perhaps 'Culture' or 'Politics' or 'Vor'. We can always adjust these later, but it's far less work to use talk pages and start to think about organization early on. Trust me.
- Every reference to a verifiable source (IE, a book, Bujold's webpage, etc) should be cited.
- If there is a template you would like to see created or a page that should really be a priority, please list it on the Projects page. Feel free to take something from the Projects page if you know how to do it.
- Let's make good use of templates from the get-go.
- Have fun!

Wiki Editing
To write a new article, just enter the article title in the box below.
- Not sure where to start?
- If you are new to wikis, check out the tutorial.
- Check out the Help index for help topics. Wikia has very nice pages with screenshots and everything, and it's easy to find stuff.
- When in doubt, find another wiki page that does what you want and look at the source. We use the same platform wikipedia does, so you can look there, even.
- Adding content
- Every wiki has two list of articles that need help called "Stubs" and "Wanted Articles". Don't be shy, get in there.
- Uploading images is another really easy way to help out - see the Special:Upload page!
- You can find a list of useful templates on Category:Templates, some of which are documented on the templates project page.
